(CLO) On November 11, the Executive Committee of the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Trade Union coordinated with the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Journalists Association and the Tuyen Quang Newspaper Youth Union to organize a special emulation launching ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first issue of Tuyen Quang Newspaper (February 3, 1965 - February 3, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Mai Duc Thong - Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association commended, acknowledged and welcomed the launching of the special emulation movement by the Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union Branch and Journalists Association Branch to all cadres, reporters and employees in the editorial office.

In order for the emulation campaign to be widely deployed, of high quality, effective and to create a strong change in awareness and action associated with specific contents, suitable to the actual situation of the agency, comrade Mai Duc Thong requested that the departments in the editorial office need to specify the contents of the emulation campaign, especially the development of contents for the upcoming special issues of the Lunar New Year. At the same time, promote participation in the distribution of newspaper publications on social networking platforms to enhance the role and position of Tuyen Quang Newspaper in the national Party Newspaper system.
At the launching ceremony, the union members, officials and employees of Tuyen Quang Newspaper pledged to: Be determined to continue to innovate the content and form of expression, improve the quality and content of press works to be increasingly rich and attractive, promptly propagate important events of the country and the province, demonstrate the leading role and orient public opinion; actively participate in press competitions organized by central ministries and branches.
Improve the quality of form and content of Tuyen Quang Newspaper publications; publish and distribute regular issues and special issues (Tet At Ty Newspaper, Tuyen Quang Weekend Tet Newspaper, New Year Greetings Newspaper...) and issues focusing on propaganda to celebrate major national and provincial holidays to ensure compliance with plan.
Launching a writing contest to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism: The writing contest "Stories behind the article" aims to record the impressions and emotions during the process of working and creating journalistic works of reporters, journalists and collaborators of Tuyen Quang Newspaper.
