On the occasion of the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the period 2025-2030, in the atmosphere of the whole country preparing to organize the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, the collective of the Vietnamese Embassy in China proudly looks back at the emulation results achieved in the past time, with comprehensive, substantive and effective developments, contributing to the overall achievements of the Diplomatic sector.

In the 2020-2025 period, the Vietnamese Embassy in China has widely deployed patriotic emulation movements associated with the implementation of key political tasks, contributing to consolidating and developing the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership in all aspects, while building a united and strong collective. Each emulation movement is built with specific and clear goals and targets, arousing the spirit of initiative, creativity and overcoming difficulties of each individual and the entire collective.

Especially in the current context, when our country is in the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the whole nation is entering a new era of development, the awareness of dedication, of "emulation is patriotism" must become even deeper. Patriotic emulation for us is not just a slogan, but has truly become a motto for action, a flame that urges the spirit of responsibility, innovation and creativity.

In that spirit, over the past time, the Embassy has always focused on innovating the content and form of emulation movements; strengthening political and ideological work, promoting propaganda and mobilization, arousing the spirit of dedication, serving the Fatherland and the people, creating unity in ideology, awareness and action to complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With the concerted efforts of all officers and employees in the Embassy and domestic agencies and units, we have successfully organized foreign affairs activities, especially serving high-level foreign affairs activities well; comprehensively implementing political diplomacy, economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to consolidating a solid political foundation for the bilateral relationship in the direction of "6 more", proactively promoting priority areas of cooperation; and promoting multilateral diplomacy.

It can be said that each time we successfully coordinate the organization of visits by high-ranking leaders of the two countries, for us, is also a competition, a time when the entire staff of the Embassy, with the highest sense of responsibility, overcomes the pressure of time and workload, and makes every effort to excellently complete the task, contributing to the success of the visits.

Currently, the Embassy has many young staff, some of whom are in their first term but have clearly demonstrated a spirit of dedication, "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility", and have made remarkable efforts and contributions.

In addition, thematic emulation campaigns such as "Emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025", "Emulation to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in diplomatic work"... were thoroughly grasped and implemented, arousing a spirit of emulation in all departments. From there, many initiatives and innovative models were created, standardizing regulations and labor processes, aiming to improve efficiency and effectiveness, together towards building a strong, comprehensive, modern and professional diplomatic sector.

The achievements in professional work and implementation of the patriotic emulation movement of the Embassy have been recognized by the Party, the State and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through worthy forms of commendation. In the recent period, the Vietnamese Embassy in China has continuously been a unit that has excellently fulfilled its tasks, receiving the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; in 2020 and 2025, it was awarded the title of Advanced Model of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; in 2012 and 2025, it received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.

Entering the period of 2025-2030, the regional and world situation has many fluctuations, the country has entered a new era, the Vietnam-China relationship is on a good development trend, opportunities and challenges are intertwined. As one of the important foreign affairs areas of our country, the Embassy in China determined that it is necessary to further promote the patriotic emulation movement; the emulation work of the Embassy will continue to be innovated, upgraded in both content and form with more focused, creative and practical tasks.

Some of the focuses of patriotic emulation movements in the coming time include:

Firstly , compete in strategic advisory work, further improve the quality of research, analysis, and situation forecasting, promptly propose major policies and solutions to promote the two countries' relationship to go deeper and more effectively;

Second , continue to compete in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example; build a team of diplomatic cadres with strong political will, high professional capacity, especially a deep understanding of the local situation and Vietnam-China relations, good foreign language skills, standard cultural behavior, and good health;

Third , compete in innovation, apply digital transformation and information technology in all aspects of work;

Fourth , compete to promote community work, consolidate and promote the strength of national unity.

We believe that the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will launch a new period of emulation to achieve achievements with high enthusiasm and determination throughout the sector; not only emulation to complete tasks, but also emulation to innovate and create. The emulation movement needs to truly become an internal driving force, strongly arousing the sense of responsibility, will to strive and patriotism in each diplomatic officer.
