Thanh Hoa: Emulation movement is deployed widely, creatively and substantially

The 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thanh Hoa province, period 2025-2030

Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President , First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, attended and directed the Congress. Attending the Congress were representatives of leaders of central and local departments and 321 outstanding delegates representing the patriotic emulation movement in all fields of Thanh Hoa province.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress is an important political event of profound significance, affirming the development of the patriotic emulation movement in Thanh Hoa province over the past 5 years; at the same time, it is a great festival, honoring advanced models, good people, good deeds, "the most beautiful flowers" in the "flower garden" of patriotic emulation.

Over the past 5 years, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, together with the proactiveness, creativity and active response of sectors, levels, localities, units and people, the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work of Thanh Hoa province have developed strongly in both breadth and depth, with many outstanding results, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, ensuring national defense and security, Party building and political system in the province.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan warmly commended and congratulated the important achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province in the past term. She especially congratulated the collectives, individuals and advanced models in the patriotic emulation movement of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2020 - 2025.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan assessed that over the past 5 years, emulation movements in Thanh Hoa have been widely and creatively deployed, becoming an important driving force for comprehensive development in all fields. Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in the province have proactively innovated the content, form and methods of organizing emulation movements, closely linked with the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and improving people's lives.

The work of commendation continues to be innovated, timely, with the right people, the right work, with encouraging, spreading and exemplary impacts. During the term, Thanh Hoa province was honored to have 1 collective awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; 1 collective awarded the title of Hero of Labor; more than 170 collectives and individuals awarded Medals; more than 450 collectives and individuals awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and other forms of commendation.

In the coming time, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan suggested that the province should further promote the patriotic emulation movement in the new period. Based on Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation, closely following the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State, associated with development requirements and tasks, Thanh Hoa needs to continue to strongly innovate emulation and reward work in a serious, practical, effective and concrete manner. In particular, the emulation movement must become an important source of spiritual motivation, strengthening confidence, promoting pride and development aspirations, arousing the good values of Thanh people - patriotism, revolution, steadfastness, diligence, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common cause, making worthy contributions to the development of the homeland and the country.
