Drug addict detected, drug dealer arrested

Subject Phuc and evidence at Hoa Binh Commune Police Station

At around 4:00 a.m. on May 6, the Hoa Binh Commune Police were patrolling to ensure security and order in the area. When they arrived at Group 7, An Thuan Hamlet, they discovered Le Ngoc Tuan (born in 1998, residing in Nguyen Du Hamlet, My Binh Ward) and Pham Thanh Thai (born in 2009, residing in Binh Hoa 2 Hamlet, My Khanh Commune, Long Xuyen City) driving a motorbike on the road, acting suspiciously. When the authorities asked them to stop the vehicle for inspection, one of the subjects secretly threw a nylon bag containing a white crystalline substance, suspected to be drugs. After a quick investigation, the subjects admitted that it was crystal meth, which they had just bought from Phuc.

Through investigation and questioning, it was discovered that Phuc was present at his biological mother's house in Hoa Binh commune. At around 2:30 p.m. the same day, the commune police caught Phuc red-handed with 9 nylon bags containing white crystalline substance, suspected to be methamphetamine (preliminary weight over 10g); 1 small scale, 5 mobile phones, 11 million VND and a number of related items used to buy, sell and use drugs.
