Man found dead in ditch

The man died in a face down position, discovered in a ditch in Son Chau commune (Huong Son - Ha Tinh ).

At around 6am this morning (June 10), a resident of Son Chau commune, while herding buffalo to work in the fields, discovered a man lying face down in an irrigation ditch in Sinh Co village (Son Chau commune). Next to him was a motorbike with license plate 38H9 - 8698. The information was immediately reported to the authorities.

The motorbike suspected to belong to the victim was in the ditch (about 2m away from the victim).

Initially, the victim was identified as Pham Hong Q. (born in 1980, residing in village 3, Son Binh commune, Huong Son).

According to Mr. Ho Pham Tuan - Chairman of Son Chau Commune People's Committee, observing the traces at the scene, it is very likely that the man fell and died. The incident is being further investigated by the authorities.
