Promoting national and era strength, firmly stepping into the era of growth

According to Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Minh Duc, Hanoi Moi Newspaper coordinated with Tay Ho Ward to organize a discussion with the theme "Promoting the strength of the nation and the times, firmly stepping into the era of rising up" to listen to and absorb the enthusiastic and responsible comments of leaders, experts and scientists to participate in completing the Draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

The seminar focused on three key contents: "Promoting national strength, combining the strength of the times", "Building and rectifying the Party - perfecting a strong political system" and "Development breakthrough - awakening the aspiration to rise up". These three thematic axes are also the key orientations in the Draft Political Report submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

“Through today's discussion, we will together clarify the innovative ideas and development vision of the 14th National Congress Documents, thereby affirming the belief, will and aspiration to develop the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; at the same time, this is also an opportunity to spread the spirit of action, responsibility and aspiration to contribute throughout society - so that every citizen, every organization, every locality can clearly see their role, mission and responsibility in the nation's journey of advancement”, affirmed the Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper.

At the discussion, the speakers focused on three key contents according to the topic, answered a series of current questions of public interest and highlighted contents in the Draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Answering the question about the theoretical and practical significance of combining national strength with the strength of the times in the new development stage as mentioned in the Draft Document, comrade Nguyen Duc Ha, former Head of the Party Base Department (Central Organization Committee) affirmed that national strength with the strength of the times is one of the 10 major relationships that our Party has drawn from over 95 years of leadership, demonstrating the correctness from theory to practice.

Believing that the emphasis on culture and people in the Draft Documents of this Congress is very correct, Professor, Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) affirmed that in order for the cultural, historical and traditional values of the nation to be transformed into soft power - into endogenous resources for national development in the context of deep integration, the core is to achieve a harmonious combination between national and contemporary factors.

Sharing a general assessment of the Draft documents submitted to the 14th Congress, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Viet Luu (former Head of the General Department, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission) affirmed that this draft document is not only concise and succinct, demonstrating the connection between reports, but also demonstrates three great things: Great thinking, great action and great aspiration.

According to comrade Tran Viet Luu, big thinking is daring to think and dare to do. Big action is proactively catching up and believing that we can do it. Big aspiration is affirming the two 100-year goals, under the glorious Party flag, firmly following the path of socialism, determined to become a developed, high-income country by 2045.

Giving specific comments on the draft, according to comrade Tran Viet Luu, the Congress's theme is still quite long, so it should be shortened and he believes that there is no need to use the words "strategy" and "confidence", because "self-reliance and self-strengthening" already include these contents.
