Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in patriotic emulation movements

In recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Phu Giao district has widely deployed patriotic emulation movements and campaigns among the people with many good and effective methods. Through these movements and campaigns, the strength of great national unity has been mobilized, contributing positively to the socio -economic development of the locality.

With the motto of using people's strength to build people's lives, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Giao district and its member organizations, through many rich and diverse forms of propaganda, have practically implemented patriotic emulation movements (TĐYN), the Campaign (CVD) "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". The campaigns associated with the TĐYN movement were quickly widely deployed among all classes of people in the area with many good and effective models.

For example, Cay Kho hamlet, Tam Lap commune has effectively implemented the model of "Waste classification at source". Accordingly, the Front Committee and hamlet unions have promoted propaganda and mobilized union members, association members and people to carry out the movement "Bright, green, clean, beautiful" in residential areas. The model has been responded to by people, who have actively participated in activities such as cleaning, environmental sanitation, waste classification at source; every Saturday and at the end of the month, they simultaneously launched a general environmental sanitation campaign on alley roads, flower roads, etc.

Along with that, the Phu Giao District Fatherland Front also effectively organized the movement "All people protect national security", typically the model of "Self-managed traffic safety team" in Vinh Hoa commune, with 150 members participating. In the past time, the team has effectively promoted its role, organized training and propagated the Road Traffic Law. Besides, there is the model of "Inter-family team on security and order (ANTT)" in An Binh commune. The members of the team regularly coordinate with local authorities to promote propaganda to ensure the situation of security and order; at the same time, actively mobilize households to install lighting and security cameras, contributing to ensuring the situation of security and order in residential areas...

Join hands for the poor…

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Giao district has launched and called for the joint efforts of the community and philanthropists to help the poor; build many welfare projects, help many families develop production, build houses, poor students have the conditions to go to school...

Specifically, from the "For the Poor" Fund, in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district organized the construction of 12 "Great Solidarity" houses, with a total value of 1.2 billion VND; repaired 12 houses, with a value of nearly 280 million VND; provided emergency support to 13 cases with especially difficult circumstances, with a total value of nearly 36 million VND; awarded 20 scholarships to students with especially difficult circumstances in the district, each worth 5 million VND... Along with that, the district Fatherland Front also effectively promoted the capital support movement, capital rotation group to help households with especially difficult circumstances develop production, develop family economy... with a total amount of more than 2 billion VND.

In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Giao district will continue to expand 30 more routes implementing the model "Model route - bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe" in 11 communes and towns; mobilize people to install lighting bulbs, hang national flags..., contributing to ensuring security and order, building a cultural and civilized lifestyle...

Implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the district and its member organizations continue to promote propaganda and mobilize union members, members and people from all walks of life to actively respond. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and its member organizations have coordinated to carry out activities to support food and foodstuffs for people in difficulty in the district through programs and activities of "Zero-VND Market", "Price-stabilized Vietnamese goods points of sale"... Up to now, the district Fatherland Front has coordinated to organize 7 "Zero-VND Markets", supporting 760 people, with a total value of 395 million VND; mobilized 6 price-stabilized Vietnamese goods points of sale. Thereby, the units have signed contracts with partners to sell cheap, preferential and free Vietnamese goods to workers and people in difficult circumstances.

Ms. To Cam Nhung, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Giao district, said that the implementation of the Youth Union and Youth Movements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the district in the past time has mobilized strength, created a widespread emulation movement, brought about practical results, and contributed positively to the socio-economic development of the locality. To continue to effectively carry out this work, in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district will continue to promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life, strengthen social consensus, and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc.
