Implementing the New Rural Development Program, he actively participated in mobilizing households to contribute money and working days to complete 11km of village roads, build a village cultural house... Besides, he always upholds the exemplary spirit, takes the lead in propagating and mobilizing families and villagers in the village to actively change the economic structure towards commodity production, applying science and technology in production. Up to now, the whole village has converted nearly 10 hectares of ineffective land to grow fruit trees, vegetables, and corn; built 4 hectares of galangal; 85 hectares of acacia... The average income per capita of the village currently reaches 51 million VND/person/year.

As one of the prestigious people in ethnic minorities in village 6, Xuan Du commune, Mr. Quach Van Luu is not only a shining example in economic development but also an active propagandist in mobilizing relatives and the community to participate in supporting and contributing to the construction of new rural areas. Up to now, the whole district has 13/13 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards, of which 4 communes meet advanced new rural standards, 1 commune meets model new rural standards; 73 villages meet new rural standards and 18 villages meet model new rural standards.
