Promote the role of prestigious people in propagating and disseminating laws and eliminating backward customs.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 1576/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing training on propaganda, dissemination of laws and the work of preserving and promoting national cultural identity, eliminating backward customs for commune-level officials, civil servants, artisans, village elders, village and hamlet chiefs and prestigious people in ethnic minority areas in Gia Lai province.

The training course aims to provide basic knowledge on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the fields of culture, sports and tourism for commune-level cadres, civil servants, artisans, village elders, village and hamlet chiefs and prestigious people in ethnic minority areas in the work of propagating and disseminating the law and promoting the role of cultural subjects in preserving the fine traditional culture of ethnic minorities. At the same time, raise awareness of the skills of disseminating andeducating the law, thereby effectively applying them to the implementation of the task of disseminating and educating the law at the local level, promoting the responsibility of commune-level cadres, civil servants, artisans, village elders, village and hamlet chiefs and prestigious people in the management of culture, sports and tourism at the grassroots level; equipping basic knowledge to advise local Party committees and authorities on the work of preserving and promoting national cultural identity, eliminating backward customs in ethnic minority areas.

The training course included 87 trainees who were artisans, village elders, village and hamlet chiefs, prestigious people in ethnic minority areas, and commune-level officials and civil servants in Gia Lai province.

Trainees will be taught by experts and researchers on 4 topics: Dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on culture, family, sports and tourism; The role of law in protecting and promoting national cultural identity in the new situation. Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities; eliminating backward customs and building a cultural environment in ethnic minority areas. Preventing and combating domestic violence and reducing early marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority areas; building cultural families in ethnic minority areas. Maintaining security and social order in ethnic minority areas and protecting national cultural heritage in cyberspace.
