The event, organized by the Vietnam Film Institute in collaboration with Babylon Cinema, Berlin, took place from April 30 to May 10.

The four classic feature films selected include: Chung mot dong song (1959), Chi Tu Hau (1962), Em be Ha Noi (1974) and Huyen thuy ve nguoi me (1987). These are outstanding works that truly reflect the desire for peace , love for the country and the noble sacrifices during the war, while also expressing the profound humanistic spirit of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema.

Through this activity, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism wishes to introduce to international friends, especially the younger generation, a part of Vietnamese history and culture through the lens of cinema art. The program is not commercial in nature, and the organizers are not allowed to exploit or distribute the film in any form without permission from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Introducing the films in Germany is not only an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to remember their roots, but also an opportunity to contribute to promoting the historical and artistic values of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema to the international audience.
