Pure Vietnamese 3D animation "Trang Quynh" is coming to theaters soon

The 3D movie Trang Quynh nhi: Truyen thuy Kim Nguu was made in 1 year, based on the web series Trang Quynh in his childhood. The work was created by director - Meritorious Artist Trinh Lam Tung and his colleagues with great passion and creativity, promising to become an interesting summer gift not only for children but also for adult audiences.

In the film, the incident occurred when Quynh's father was falsely accused of stealing precious jade to oppose the royal court. On the way to escape with his friends from the pursuit of the soldiers and to find a way to clear his family's name, the boy Quynh accidentally discovered the plot of a dark force related to the legendary Nine-Tailed Fox.

Starting with the introduction "once upon a time", the introduction evokes in the audience the familiar feeling of fairy tales associated with the childhood of many generations. The initial images show the audience entering the space of the ancient Khoai village, meeting the clever and mischievous little boy Trang Quynh with his friends Coi Nhi, Bi Map, and Muoi. The children accidentally get caught up in a troublesome story, forcing them to go on an exciting journey, full of challenges and life lessons.

Inspired by the familiar folk character Trang Quynh, the director innovates and builds the main character in the movie as a brave, sincere boy with sharp intelligence, associated with strange challenges on the big screen. The legend of the Taurus God and the Nine-Tailed Fox is a legendary creation of the script, with the expectation of creating an animated world that is both familiar and magical during the summer vacation. The movie Trang Quynh Nhi: The Legend of Taurus will be released on May 30, 2025.

Director - Meritorious Artist Trinh Lam Tung has more than 20 years of experience in the animation industry with many award-winning works at Vietnam Film Festivals and other awards.

The 3D animated series Trang Quynh in his childhood won the Audience Award for Most Favorite Vietnamese Film ( Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2024), Outstanding Animated Film (Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award VCA 2024), Top 10 Finalists (De Men Children's Award 2024), Outstanding Animated Film (Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award VCA 2023), Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Cinema Association (Golden Kite Award 2024).
