The trailer reveals a series of dramatic action scenes, meticulous effects, especially the confrontation between De Men and Mantis Warrior - symbolizing the conflict between freedom and power.
The epicentre of the war takes place in the strange city ruled by King Ech Com, with its extremely flashy and overwhelming appearance. However, when everyone is present in this place, dark plots gradually appear. It turns out that everything is just a play thought up by King Ech Com.

To survive and escape this place, De Men and his teammates have no other choice but to unite and fight together with their own intelligence, will and strength.
The trailer not only impresses with its action scenes but also reveals many dramatic details in the relationships between the characters, especially the appearance of new allies fighting alongside De Men.


Meanwhile, the official poster vividly depicts the main characters: De Men, De Choat, the Mantis warrior, the Frog King... All appear on a rickshaw with the spirit of being ready for a life-and-death battle.
According to the crew, the film promises to not only attract attention thanks to its engaging plot and vivid images, but also affirm a new position for Vietnamese animation when the entire production process - from ideas, design to post-production - is all carried out by Vietnamese people.
In particular, Vietnamese cultural imprints are also expressed through character design, color images inspired by nature and folk life, and specially composed music , combining traditional and modern instruments.


Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp is also the first Vietnamese film to be produced entirely at Digital Studio – a creative model linking CinePlus, Thai Nguyen provincial government and Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU). The film also marks a collaboration between a team of lecturers, students and technology experts.
Production director Vu Duy Nam also emphasized that this is not just an animated film, but an expectation for a creative industry owned by Vietnamese people. He said: “We want to prove that Vietnam is completely capable of creating quality, decent and artistic film products.”

The film officially hits theaters on May 30 and is rated P – for all ages.
