Investment in industrial clusters is booming

Industrial development, especially processing, manufacturing, green, clean, modern and environmentally friendly technology, has always been a priority for Quang Ninh province to attract investment. In recent years, along with promoting the development of industrial parks in the province, Quang Ninh has also focused on inviting large companies, enterprises and corporations to invest in industrial clusters, thereby attracting secondary investors to develop industry in the area.

Due to the open and favorable investment and business environment, quick and effective administrative procedures, recently, many investors have been interested in developing industrial clusters in Quang Ninh . Recently, Shinec Joint Stock Company has received a construction license for the Investment Project on construction and business of infrastructure of the Eastern Industrial Cluster of Dam Ha B, with a total investment of over 600 billion VND, covering an area of ​​60 hectares.

With a favorable location next to National Highway 18, close to the Hai Phong - Mong Cai Expressway, Mong Cai International Border Gate and Van Don Airport, the Dam Ha B Eastern Industrial Cluster will be an attractive destination for secondary investors. The investor commits that within the first year of completing the infrastructure construction, the Industrial Cluster will be 50% filled, and by the third year it will reach 100% occupancy. Up to now, there have been 8 secondary investors interested and in need of leasing land in the industrial cluster with a total area of ​​21.5 hectares. Currently, the locality has been promoting site clearance, always accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for the project to soon come into operation, contributing to promoting socio- economic development, creating jobs, and increasing income for local people.

As for Yen Than Industrial Cluster, immediately after starting construction in June 2025, the investor in constructing the technical infrastructure, Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company, urgently implemented the project.

Yen Than Industrial Cluster is deployed with a total area of ​​nearly 48 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 600 billion VND. The industrial cluster is conveniently located, adjacent to the road connecting National Highway 4B and National Highway 18C. This is a project to build synchronous technical infrastructure to serve the relocation of small-scale industrial establishments out of the urban planning area to limit the risk of environmental pollution; at the same time, attract industrial production establishments, small-scale industrial, logistics, agricultural and forestry product processing establishments... Within 6 months from the commencement date, the investor commits to mobilize maximum human resources, material resources, means and equipment to basically complete all items. When put into operation, the industrial cluster is expected to meet the needs of 250 secondary project enterprises, creating stable jobs for over 2,000 local workers.

Yen Than Industrial Park is the second project started by Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company in 2025. Previously in January, this enterprise started the Dong Mai Industrial Park with a scale of 16 hectares, with a total investment of more than 300 billion VND.

Most recently, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued Decision 2419/QD-UBND to establish Quang Duc Industrial Cluster, with Green Park Industrial Cluster Investment Joint Stock Company as the investor in building technical infrastructure with a total area of ​​69.44 hectares, synchronously investing in traffic infrastructure, electricity, water, wastewater treatment... This industrial cluster will attract processing and manufacturing industries; repair of automobiles, other motor vehicles...

According to the Industrial Cluster Development Plan for the period 2021-2030, Quang Ninh province has developed 36 industrial clusters with an area of ​​over 2,105 hectares. Up to now, the whole province has established and expanded the area of ​​16 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​over 853 hectares. Of which, 5 industrial clusters have invested in building technical infrastructure and come into operation, 11 industrial clusters are investing and implementing steps to prepare for investment in building technical infrastructure.

In the coming time, to continue implementing the Industrial Cluster Development Plan for the period 2021-2030, Quang Ninh province will step up calling for large companies, enterprises and corporations to invest in building infrastructure for industrial clusters, as well as attracting enterprises and companies to invest in factories, workshops and production lines operating in industrial clusters, thereby contributing to further promoting socio-economic development in the province.
