Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council joins in the Great Solidarity Festival

Permanent Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh People's Council Tran Tu Anh hopes that people in Lam Thuy village, Xuan Giang commune (Nghi Xuan) will continue to promote cultural values to build their homeland to become more and more prosperous and civilized.

On the afternoon of November 9, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Tu Anh and the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee directed Nghi Xuan district to join in the celebration of the National Great Unity Day in Lam Thuy village, Xuan Giang commune (Nghi Xuan).

Lam Thuy village has 327 households and 1,080 people. People always promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and help each other in economic development.

In 2022, the average income per capita of Lam Thuy village will reach over 60 million VND/person/year, the rate of near-poor households will be 2.6%, 1 poor household, the number of households meeting the standards of cultural families will be 97%, and the number of sports families will be 93%.

The cadres and people of Lam Thuy village always pay attention to social activities, implement village and hamlet conventions; encourage people to participate in emulation to build cultural families and cultural villages, and practice cultural lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals, and longevity celebrations according to regulations.

The people actively participated in the mass movements to protect national security, and political security and social order and safety in the area were maintained.

In 2023, with financial support from higher levels, the village mobilized people to contribute 140 million VND and 2,100 working days to build the infrastructure of the meeting hall, install camera systems, LED lights... to build a smart village model.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council hopes that in the coming time, the Party Committee, the government, and the Village Front Work Committee will continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work, diversify forms of gathering, widely unite people of all walks of life, strongly arouse patriotism, national pride, promote cultural values, sense of social responsibility, self-reliance, and build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

At the festival, provincial and district leaders presented 10 gifts to poor and near-poor households in Lam Thuy village.
