Localities launch peak period of "60 days of new rural construction"
(Baohatinh.vn) - Localities in Ha Tinh are focusing on implementing many contents during the peak period of "60 days of building new rural areas" to consolidate and improve the criteria, and complete the targets for 2025.

The peak emulation campaign to build new rural areas in Duc Quang commune took place from November 15 with the goal of mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, organizations, unions and people of all walks of life to beautify the landscape; improve the quality and consolidate the new rural criteria; thereby, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
Ms. Luu Thi Tam (Ha Tu village, Duc Quang commune) said: "After the flood, the environment was affected, so this campaign was very positively responded by the people. Taking advantage of the time before the peak of spring production, we focused on tidying up gardens, collecting garbage, and cleaning up village roads and alleys so that the environment could soon stabilize again. My family is also restoring the model garden to both increase income and keep the landscape of our house green - clean - beautiful." During this peak campaign, 23 villages in the area will develop a specific action plan, focusing on key tasks such as: disseminating the meaning of the action program to build new rural areas to the people; renovating model residential areas; planting new and trimming green hedges; protecting the environment, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape; building a cultural life, civilized lifestyle; renovating the system of cultural houses, sports grounds, and auxiliary works...
Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Secretary of Quyet Tien village Party Cell, Duc Quang commune informed: “ The village is often in the leading group of the whole commune in the movement of building new rural areas. We widely launched activities such as "New Rural Saturday", "Green Sunday", expanding and renovating village roads and alleys; renovating mixed gardens; building green fences. In addition, the village installed a lighting system for 1.2 km of main roads and built 50m of new drainage ditches in residential areas, contributing to completing infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the people".
Recently, the new rural construction movement in Hong Loc commune has continued to take place vigorously with the active participation of cadres, union members and a large number of people, especially the activity "Saturday of New Rural Construction". In Kim Tan village, local people, cadres, party members, union members from the commune to the village have cleaned up and renovated the cultural house and sports area; repaired and leveled 500 square meters of volleyball court and flower beds, contributing to the completion of the new rural criteria. Mr. Vo Ta Binh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Loc commune said: "Welcoming the success of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the commune has launched a 60-day peak emulation campaign to build new rural areas with many specific and practical tasks to consolidate and improve the criteria. At the same time, the commune is also reviewing the unmet criteria and difficult tasks to gradually remove them, mobilizing the entire political system to contribute to bringing the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress into life soon". With the determination to "do it for real - do it quickly - do it effectively", recently, the Steering Committee of the National Target Programs of Thach Xuan commune organized a ceremony to launch the peak campaign to build a new rural area in 2025. This is also a practical activity to set achievements to welcome the success of the 20th Congress of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
This launching ceremony took place from November 5 to December 5 with many contents in the fields of: infrastructure - traffic - irrigation; garden renovation and improvement; environment - landscape; economy - cultural - social production. Immediately after the launching ceremony, the villages simultaneously launched many practical tasks such as: planting trees, clearing traffic corridors, renovating model residential areas, model gardens, environmental sanitation, etc.
Currently, farmers across the province are competing to boost production, maximize land exploitation, and focus on planting and caring for winter crops such as vegetables, sweet potatoes, corn, etc. to increase income and strive to complete the production plan in the final months of 2025.
Along with that, currently, many localities are promoting land conversion, dredging, construction and repair of intra-field canal systems,... to create favorable conditions for highly effective spring crop production in 2026.
According to the assessment of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, the peak period of new rural area construction is creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in many localities. This fierce atmosphere contributes to creating motivation for localities to speed up progress, striving to complete the 2025 socio-economic targets as planned.
