Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha attended the 30th anniversary celebration of Le Quy Don Secondary School.

On the morning of November 8, Le Quy Don Secondary School solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its founding. Comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were former provincial leaders, leaders of the Department of Education and Training, generations of teachers and students of Le Quy Don Secondary School.

Le Quy Don Secondary School was established on August 21, 1995 with the first name of Tuyen Quang Town Specialized Secondary School, then changed to Le Quy Don Gifted School and in the 1998-1999 school year changed to Le Quy Don Secondary School.

Over the past 30 years, Le Quy Don Secondary School has continuously innovated and developed in terms of scale, quality of education and learning environment. From 11 initial classes with 300 students, the school has now grown to 26 classes with over 1,000 students and 40 staff and teachers. The school has become a cradle for training excellent students with over 4,700 excellent students at all levels. In the period 2015-2025, the school has 58 students achieving regional and national excellent students. Many generations of students of the school have grown up and made positive contributions to their homeland and country. The school has been honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal, 29 times receiving the Emulation Flag, 27 times receiving the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training , and the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha congratulated the achievements of generations of cadres, teachers and students of Le Quy Don Secondary School. He hoped that the school's leadership and teachers would continue to promote tradition and build a strong, united collective. The school needs to continue to make strong changes in the quality of education, especially key education; take the lead in applying digital transformation in management and teaching; strive for each teacher to be a shining example of instilling a passion for learning and creativity in students. Students need to determine the right and clear purpose and motivation for learning. Along with studying hard, students need to pay attention to physical exercise, moral cultivation, civilized behavior, comply with school regulations, love the school, teachers and friends, and be worthy of being excellent students at Le Quy Don School.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested all levels and sectors, especially the Department of Education and Training, Party committees and Minh Xuan ward authorities to continue to pay attention, mobilize and allocate resources to invest in equipment and facilities, and create all conditions for the school to perform well all assigned tasks. From there, continue to build Le Quy Don Secondary School into a reliable "red address" of the province's education sector, worthy of the care and trust of Party committees, authorities and people.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the school and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in education and training, contributing to the construction and development of Le Quy Don Secondary School.
