On the afternoon of November 21, floodwaters began to recede on many roads along the Hoai River, Hoi An Ward, Da Nang City, leaving behind a thick layer of mud covering the road surface.
Immediately afterwards, residents and businesses, along with staff from Hoi An Public Works Joint Stock Company, urgently mobilized to clean up and restore urban sanitation.

In the Nguyen Hoang – Nguyen Phuc Chu area, environmental workers mobilized specialized excavators to collect mud from the inner roads and push it to the Hoai River bank. Workers were on duty continuously to push the mud down, collect floating garbage, and ensure the roads would soon be clear.

Water has just receded from Bach Dang Street, from the area of the Japanese Covered Bridge to Hoi An market, revealing a thick layer of mud.

According to the sanitation team, cleaning work has been carried out continuously for the past 2 days on many streets such as Nguyen Thai Hoc, Bach Dang, and Pham Hong Thai.
As the water receded, the roads were cleaned. Bach Dang Street in particular had many sections still covered in 3-5cm thick mud; visitors had to use plastic bags to cover their feet to avoid slipping and getting dirty.

Many businesses said that for nearly a month, Hoi An ancient town has experienced three consecutive floods, forcing them to regularly clean up to maintain operations and welcome customers.

The flooding from the afternoon of November 16 was the third time since the end of October 2025, with water levels on many streets rising 0.8-1 m. Although it was lighter than the historic flood at the end of October, it still greatly affected people's lives and businesses.
