This is the first step in the roadmap to gradually bring all 3 exhibition floors of Nghe An Museum back to normal operation, according to the infrastructure upgrade plan of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. During the temporary suspension of exhibition activities (from the end of December 2024), Nghe An Museum will still maintain the service area and auxiliary facilities open, organize experiential activities for children and serve the needs of visitors to visit and study.

The first floor thematic exhibition room of Nghe An Museum is a space dedicated to cultural - historical - artistic topics associated with major events of the province and the country. This place has recorded many special thematic exhibitions such as "President Ho Chi Minh and his homeland Nghe An", "History of Nghe Tinh land", "Folk culture of Nghe An", "Traditional festivals", "Vinh city - past and present" ...

In addition, the first floor of the Museum also has a digital experience space, applying projection, interaction and virtual reality technology, providing visitors - especially the young generation - with a vivid, intuitive and attractive approach to local cultural and historical heritage.

During this resumption, the gallery will host the photo exhibition “ASEAN Countries and People” – a typical cultural event in the series of activities responding to the Lotus Village Festival 2025. The exhibition is directed and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province, assigned to the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions and the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An.
