Ms. Chu Thi Hong, President of the Town Women's Union, said: To promote the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", every year the Town Women's Union organizes the launch, thoroughly grasps the content of standards, methods of evaluating the criteria of the movement; strengthens the work of checking the implementation progress; organizes the commendation and replication of advanced models in the fields of work, labor and production... creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among women of all classes.
Through the active implementation of cultural, artistic and sports movements, over the past 5 years, the Women's Union at all levels has organized 305 volleyball and badminton exchanges, exchanges of lullaby and folk song clubs, folk dance and sports clubs on the occasion of the anniversaries of major holidays of the Party, the country and the Union, attracting a large number of female members and people to participate. In particular, responding to the special emulation campaign to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the Women's Union of the town launched an emulation and organized a folk dance and sports competition with the theme "Firmly following the Party, proud of Duy Tien women". The competition was organized with the participation of 15 teams, attracting a large number of female officers and employees along with a number of men and children to participate. In particular, the 2 ensemble performances of the competition had over 1,000 participants.
Along with that, the Women's Union of the town also organized the event "Ao Dai Festival - a round of Vietnam and folk dance performance" at the town's walking cultural space, attracting nearly ten thousand people to attend and cheer; directed the launch of the model "Traditional Ao Dai Wardrobe for Women" located at the Women's Union of Doan village, Tien Ngoai commune, creating a widespread effect among the staff. Accordingly, the Women's Union of units such as Tien Noi, Yen Bac, Dong Van, Hoa Mac built Ao Dai wardrobes to give to women, creating a movement of wearing Ao Dai in the activities of the union, meaningful events for female members.
Implementing the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period of 2017 - 2025", every year, the Women's Union of the town has developed a plan, with specific solutions and jobs to support capacity building for women starting a business, having start-up ideas, female business owners, business owners, cooperatives in the area in many forms such as capital support, knowledge training, product introduction and promotion; creating conditions for 40 members of the Women's Startup Club of Tien Son commune and Dong Van ward to borrow capital for economic development, each household borrowing 20 million VND; connecting and supporting 13 enterprises, 70 business households owned by women; newly establishing 4 cooperatives. At the same time, guide and support 7 members with startup ideas to participate in the "Women's Startup" Contest organized by the Women's Union at all levels, including 1 idea of producing dairy products of Hanamilk Company which was listed in the top typical products at the Central level and received a prize of 100 million VND...
Responding to the program "Godmother - Connecting love" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, women's unions at all levels in the area have connected and sponsored 54 orphans in difficult circumstances, some of whom have grown up and are currently sponsoring 44 children. The unions at all levels have presented over 600 gifts to orphans sponsored by the unions and children in difficult circumstances, students overcoming difficulties with a total amount of over 400 million VND; supported procedures to request tuition exemption and reduction, career guidance for 26 students studying at Ha Nam Vocational College; paid attention to the sponsorship regime for orphans; coordinated with the Military Command of the town, organizations, and pagodas to organize the programs "Warm winter for children", "Go to school with children"; commended excellent students overcoming difficulties, presented gifts, donated 88 bicycles, school supplies with a total amount of nearly 200 million VND...
With many practical activities, the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families" of the Women's Union of Duy Tien town has spread into life, encouraging women of all walks of life to actively participate in responding to emulation movements, proactively improve their qualifications in all aspects and flexibly apply them to production labor, building a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family.
