Accordingly, at around 8:30 p.m. on November 26, on Ho Chi Minh Road through Kham Duc Town (Phuoc Son District), a serious landslide occurred at the gate of Kham Duc Town. The volume of rock and soil from the positive slope falling onto the road was more than 2,000m3 .

Mr. Luong Son Ba - a resident whose house is right next to the landslide site said that after a loud explosion, a mass of soil from the hill across the road fell across the road and reached the wall of his house.

Upon receiving the news, police and military forces of Phuoc Son district were present at the scene that night to regulate and temporarily divert traffic in another direction to limit traffic congestion.

Phuoc Son District Road Management Department also mobilized human resources and vehicles to handle the situation and clear traffic that same night.

On the night of November 26, the People's Committee of Kham Duc town also mobilized dozens of households on both sides of Ho Chi Minh road near the landslide area to evacuate to safety.
