Faced with the complicated situation of floods and rains, on the morning of November 17, Ba Ngoi Ward held an urgent meeting to deploy tasks and assign forces to urgently support, rescue, and evacuate people in deep, isolated flooded areas. At the same time, trucks were mobilized to transport vehicles, buoys, life jackets, and canoes to approach and transport people in low-lying areas to safety; closely monitor, fully update, and promptly inform about the situation and forecast the development of floods and rains so that people can proactively respond, and not let people be unaware of natural disasters.

The forces promptly arranged, guarded, and controlled people and vehicles in areas at risk of deep flooding and landslides, resolutely not allowing people to pass through, causing unsafety; arranged forces, materials, and vehicles to overcome incidents, ensuring smooth traffic on main traffic routes when heavy rains occurred. The ward also directed to review, inspect, and promptly detect areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and deep flooding to promptly warn; proactively organized evacuation and relocation of people in all areas identified as unsafe, especially those at risk of deep flooding and landslides such as residential groups: Suoi Mon, Thong Nhat, Hoa Binh , Hoa An, Tan Hiep....; not allowing people to stay on boats, cages, and aquaculture watchtowers; Closely coordinate with the Regional Defense Command to promptly deploy forces and effectively handle situations arising in the work of preventing, avoiding and responding to heavy rains, flash floods and landslides in the area, ensuring the safety of people's lives and limiting property damage.

Currently, Ba Ngoi ward continues to monitor, deploy tasks, and evacuate all households in vulnerable areas before 3:00 p.m. on November 17; prepare food and supplies to support people taking shelter in safe areas arranged by the locality, including: medical stations, schools, and houses in high positions, not flooded.

Previously, from the afternoon of November 16, the Ward People's Committee announced that students at schools in the area would be off from November 17 until further notice.
