Ea Kao Ward organized a thematic conference on administrative reform associated with digital transformation.

On the afternoon of December 15th, Ea Kao ward held a thematic conference on "Administrative reform associated with digital transformation in the ward until 2030". The conference was attended by leaders from the Department of Science and Technology; representatives from Viettel Dak Lak, VNPT Dak Lak, Tay Nguyen University, leaders of schools in the area, and ward officials and civil servants.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Kao Ward, Le Dai Thang, delivered the opening speech at the conference.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Mr. Tran Cong Huu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Kao Ward, emphasized that administrative reform is a regular and crucial task aimed at building a democratic, professional, and modern administration that serves the people and businesses even better.
For Ea Kao, an area experiencing rapid urbanization, population growth, and a growing need for administrative procedures, promoting administrative reform coupled with digital transformation is crucial to the satisfaction of citizens and businesses, while also contributing to enhanced competitiveness and attracting investment in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Linh, Head of Information Technology Solutions Department of Viettel Dak Lak, delivered a presentation at the conference.

At the conference, 10 presentations from various departments and units were given, focusing on clarifying the current situation and proposing many specific solutions.
During the meeting, the Department of Science and Technology shared experiences and results on implementing activities to enhance the application of science and technology and digital transformation.

VNPT Dak Lak has proposed a solution to coordinate training, capacity building, and enhancement of digital skills for officials and employees of Ea Kao ward by 2030.
Viettel Dak Lak proposed a plan to coordinate the equipping of systems and enhance infrastructure to support digital transformation efforts.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Dang Gia Duan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ea Kao Ward, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, practical contributions, and heartfelt presentations of the delegates.

The comrade affirmed that the conference is an important basis for the ward to select and supplement feasible solutions, and to build a thematic resolution on "Breakthroughs in administrative reform associated with digital transformation in Ea Kao ward until 2030". At the same time, it is also a forum for in-depth exchange, clarifying the current situation, difficulties, and limitations in the process of implementing administrative reform and digital transformation in the locality.

Dang Gia Duan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ea Kao Ward, delivered the concluding remarks at the conference.

The conference contributed to raising awareness throughout the ward's political system about the role and importance of administrative reform linked to digital transformation in building a modern urban government that serves the people; orienting key tasks and breakthrough solutions to effectively implement Resolution No. 57 and the province's and ward's administrative reform and digital transformation programs until 2030; and simultaneously improving the skills in performing official duties and the capacity to apply digital technology of officials, civil servants, and related forces.
