Hai Chau Ward launched Action Month for Gender Equality

DNO - On the afternoon of November 19, the People's Committee of Hai Chau ward launched the Action Month for gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence in 2025 (from November 15 to December 15).

With the theme "Gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age", during the peak period, the People's Committee of Hai Chau ward launched a campaign for functional departments, branches, and unions to focus on enhancing education on knowledge and skills of self-protection and self-prevention, especially risks when accessing online platforms for women and girls.

At the same time, create conditions for women to raise awareness, participate in the application of science and technology, digital transformation; create a network to expand awareness, change working methods, and better affirm their roles and positions in work and life.

Hai Chau Ward People's Committee requested all levels, sectors, associations and unions to enhance their roles, responsibilities and effectiveness of coordination work to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in implementing gender equality, preventing and responding to domestic violence.

At the launching ceremony, the Department of Home Affairs presented 5 gifts (VND 2,000,000/gift) to women in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee organized a Family Work Training Course in 2025, with the theme "Women - Keepers of the Family Fire".
