Launch special emulation movement
Implementing Plan No. 06-KH/DU, dated July 25, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Rach Gia Ward Party Committee launching the emulation movement to celebrate major holidays, important political events and party congresses at all levels, the Party cell committees, affiliated party committees, the Front, and mass organizations have launched a peak emulation campaign among cadres, party members, union members, association members and the people.
Activities focus on practical works and tasks, such as: Building houses for union members and members in difficult circumstances; digitizing the biography of People's Armed Forces Hero Vo Thi Sau and patriotic poet Huynh Man Dat; making a bright - green - clean - beautiful flower road; building a "Trade Union Flower Garden"; implementing a road to ensure urban order and environmental sanitation. Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Rach Gia Ward Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy said: "The model flower road project not only beautifies the landscape, but also raises community awareness, arouses the spirit of patriotic emulation, and contributes to creating social consensus before the important political event of the locality".
Along with that, many cultural, artistic and sports programs were organized, including: Billiards and women's volleyball tournaments; folk dance performances, Ao Dai performances; photo exhibitions, OCOP product displays (One Commune One Product Program); art programs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the innovative homeland. These activities not only created a joyful atmosphere, but also demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and determination to successfully implement the Congress resolution.
New spirit, new confidence
With the theme "Rach Gia Youth proudly marches forward under the Party's flag", the Rach Gia Ward Youth Union launched many emulation movements to welcome the Congress, attracting a large number of union members, youths and students to participate. Comrade Tran Chi Linh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and Secretary of the Ward Youth Union affirmed: "In line with the theme, we guide the grassroots Youth Union to organize emulation movements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, attracting a large number of union members, youths and students to participate. The movements create a broad political activity, continuing to affirm the position and pioneering role of union members and youths in participating in successfully implementing local political, economic and social tasks. This is also a premise for the youth of the whole ward to successfully implement tasks in 2025 and the following years".
The Ward Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center plays a key role in propaganda work. The unit has implemented many diverse forms: Building columns, panels, banners, flag routes; producing video reports; organizing art performances to serve the people. Comrade Tran Kim Quoi - Director of the Center said: “Currently, the unit is advising the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward to implement the flag route and banner route to propagate the contents of the slogans welcoming the Congress. We continue to hang 500 flags on traffic bridges; hang 800 Party flags, national flags, and banners on the median strip of the ward's main road; hang 300 Party flags, national flags on Nguyen Thai Hoc and Nguyen Cong Tru streets. Hang 30 banners on Nguyen Trung Truc street, 3/2 street, Cach Mang Thang Tam street; set up 20 panels at the Party Committee, People's Committee of the ward, the Provincial Party Committee area and the Community Activity Center. In addition, the unit also organizes sports competitions, performs art performances to welcome the Congress before, during and after the days of the Party Congress of the ward”.
Currently, many projects and tasks are still being urgently completed with the highest determination. The exciting competitive atmosphere spreads throughout the area, encouraging cadres, party members and people to promote the spirit of creativity and solidarity, towards the success of the 1st Rach Gia Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
