Tam Thang Ward supports foreigners to register for level 2 electronic identification

It is expected that in August, the Ward Police will coordinate to organize the issuance of level 2 electronic identification at the Tam Thang Ward Police headquarters within 2 days, creating convenience for foreigners without having to travel far.

From July 1 to August 19, 2025, implementing Plan 370/KH-BCA-V01 of the Ministry of Public Security , Tam Thang Ward Police organized a peak of 50 days and nights of propaganda and guidance for foreigners to register for level 2 electronic identification.

During peak times, every day, ward police officers will visit each household to propagate and guide the preparation of necessary documents to complete procedures at the immigration management agency.

It is expected that in August, the Ward Police will coordinate to organize the issuance of level 2 electronic identification at the Tam Thang Ward Police headquarters within 2 days, creating convenience for foreigners without having to travel far.

The ward currently has about 1,600 foreigners temporarily residing, mainly from Russia, Korea, the US, the Philippines, China, India, etc.

Identity accounts help foreigners carry out administrative procedures online, confirm legal identity and protect their rights while living and working in Vietnam.
