According to Mr. Huynh Tan, the flood situation in the area is developing complicatedly, while the Tra Cong mountain area has a very high risk of landslides and rockfalls. For the time being, the commune is urging people to relocate and temporarily stay with relatives or neighboring households; in case of prolonged heavy rain, they will be moved to a safe area that has been prepared...

Mr. Tan emphasized that ensuring the safety and lives of the people is paramount. "At all costs, we will relocate and evacuate all residents from the dangerous area tonight," Mr. Tan said.
On the same day, heavy rain caused erosion on many cliffs in An Hoa commune, and some sections of the road leading to An Toan commune were damaged by landslides, but traffic remained generally safe.

On the evening of October 29th, a leader from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Gia Lai province stated that heavy rains lasting for several days had caused landslides in some areas. Specifically, the road leading to the OPY 500kV substation (belonging to the Ia Ly Hydropower Plant, Ia Ly commune) and the road to La Vuong (Hoai Nhon Bac ward) were affected by landslides.

In response to the situation, local authorities organized the evacuation of residents from the dangerous areas. In Ia Ly commune, 6 households (23 people) living near the road leading to the OPY 500kV substation were relocated to a safe place.

In De Gi commune (Gia Lai province), authorities are stationed in the Ganh mountain area to inform households living near the foot of the mountain to proactively evacuate to ensure safety during the heavy rain and flooding. Accordingly, the local authorities will organize the emergency evacuation of 15 households (51 people) in the Ganh mountain area (Duc Pho 1 hamlet, De Gi commune) to a safe location.
