According to Insider Gaming , there have recently been reports of the PlayStation 5 Pro (PS5 Pro console) in development. Sony's new product, codenamed 'Project Trinity,' has fans eagerly anticipating what Sony will bring to the table.
Recently, another rumor emerged from Zuby_Tech, revealing that a new Sony PS5 console will feature two major technological improvements. Specifically, upon release, the upcoming console will have a 5nm APU compared to the previous 7nm APU. Additionally, it will not utilize liquid metal.
The new PlayStation 5 may have a smaller processor.
This suggests the new PS5 model will likely run cooler during use. The 5nm APU also means the device will consume more power, generate less heat, have a smaller die size, and ultimately offer faster computing power. All of that will make the next PS5 a more powerful gaming console.
However, it remains unclear whether these improvements will be implemented by Sony in the upcoming new model, which could potentially replace the standard PS5, or whether they are exclusive to the PS5 Pro. Everything may become clear later this year.
