The latest ruling from the Paris Court of First Instance on May 26 canceled the order to freeze 55 million euros from PSG's account - the amount that Mbappe asked his former team to pay.

This is a heavy blow to Mbappe, who has sued PSG, accusing the club of failing to meet its financial obligations under the contract. The dispute began in October last year, and the French Football Federation (LFP) Appeal Committee even sided with Mbappe. However, PSG refused to accept and insisted on taking the case to a higher court, showing their uncompromising determination in this fight.

To protect his rights, Mbappe has hired a team of three lawyers specializing in criminal, labor and litigation. The Real Madrid star even hopes UEFA will ban PSG from European competitions if he wins the case.

However, the recent ruling of the Paris Court of First Instance has turned the situation around by lifting the blockade order, giving PSG a big advantage in the legal battle with the 1998-born striker.

Not only that, on May 13, PSG also counter-sued Mbappe, demanding that the French striker pay compensation of up to 100 million euros.

The reason given was that Mbappe had seriously damaged the club's image and repeatedly delayed providing evidence. PSG also stressed that their goal was not to recover 98 million euros, but to prove that the French striker was wrong.

PSG can now breathe a sigh of relief with this ruling. However, the legal battle between the two sides is not yet completely over and is expected to have many unexpected developments in the future.
