PSG puts Lee Kang-in up for sale

Lee Kang-in has been mostly on the bench for the past three months.

According to L'Equipe , PSG's coaching staff is considering the possibility of parting ways with Lee Kang-in to rebuild the attack for next season. The final decision will be made after a meeting between the club and the player's representative at the end of the season.

Currently, PSG is focusing all its efforts on the goal of winning the UEFA Champions League. However, Lee is no longer in coach Luis Enrique's plans at this important stage.

At the beginning of the season, the Korean player was trusted by coach Enrique and used quite often in all competitions. However, Lee's playing time gradually decreased over time. Notably, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal, he only sat on the bench and did not enter the field for a single minute.

L'Equipe also pointed out that in addition to Lee Kang-in, Lucas Hernandez, Goncalo Ramos and Warren Zaire-Emery are also players who are no longer in coach Enrique's plans. This group of players could be liquidated after this season ends.

Several Premier League clubs have expressed interest in Lee Kang-in, including Arsenal, PSG's opponents in the Champions League semi-finals.

Lee Kang-in's contract with PSG runs until 2028. He joined the French capital club for 22 million euros from Mallorca in the summer of 2023. After 76 appearances, the midfielder has scored 11 goals for PSG.
