2025 Song Hung Cup Team Golf Championship

(NLDO) - Two golf teams, former students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and University of Technology, will compete in the Song Hung Cup at Song Be Golf & Resort on May 30.

This is the second time the Song Hung Cup has been jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Alumni Golf Club and the Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic Golf Club to create a playground for physical training and an environment for exchange and business connection between members of the two clubs.

Not only that, this tournament continues to be called for by the organizers, mobilizing funds to build charity houses and support the poor.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Alumni Golf Club and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology Golf Club are two of the strongest golf clubs of universities in the city. More than 300 members of these two clubs are former students, trainees, and officials who studied and worked at the two schools.

At the first tournament in 2024, the Song Hung Cup was very successful with the championship belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Alumni Golf Club. More importantly, through the tournament, the organizers mobilized over 500 million VND, building 5 charity houses in response to the program "Standing side by side with Vietnamese families" of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio Station (each house worth 100 million VND with gifts of household items).

The Song Hung Golf Cup is organized in the form of a team competition with 32 golfers from 2 schools divided into four groups A, B, C and D.

All golfers participating in the tournament must have a valid Handicap certificate, valid for the last 3 months. In addition to the 2 Club teams, the Organizing Committee also expanded the scale to 144 golfers, who must be members of 2 Clubs participating in the friendly competition.

The scale and attractiveness of the tournament has attracted the participation of many businesses and units owned or led by alumni of the two schools.
