The idea came from the greenhouse garden

Hidden on Tran Quang Dieu street, Chapter 28 Bistro Bar gives diners the feeling of stepping into a miniature forest, where green trees, light and scents blend together, creating a unique experience.

The idea of a green space was born when the owner had the opportunity to visit The Palm House - Kew Gardens (London, England), a large greenhouse built in 1848 to grow palms and tropical plants. Here, light penetrates through the towering canopy, creating a feeling of being filled with nature.

After the trip, the owner wanted to recreate the feeling of relaxation and greenery right in the heart of the city, so he decided to build a "forest in the city" - a place where each guest can temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of life and find rare peace.

Stepping through the small door, diners feel like they are lost in a miniature forest in the heart of the city. The cool space with green trees covering, light through the skylight makes all the chaos outside seem to pause. Each potted plant and miniature landscape is meticulously arranged, bringing a feeling of both familiarity and wonder, making every step in the restaurant a unique experience.

The special highlight of the restaurant is the long glass tables, which the owner ordered from suppliers specializing in designing display tables in museums.

Under the glass, green trees, moss and soil are vividly arranged, creating a miniature natural world .

Each table becomes a “living picture” that guests can observe from every angle, discovering every small detail.

Natural light through the skylight, combined with the soft yellow light from the lighting system, highlights the fresh green of the trees and moss, making the space both cool and pleasant.

The 2nd floor of Chapter 28 Bistro Bar is flexibly arranged with indoor and outdoor areas, offering many options for guests who want to sip coffee while enjoying the green space or breathing in the fresh breeze.

The unique highlight here is the fish tank, where fish swim naturally among trees and green moss.

The drinks at the shop are considered rich and flexible, with flavors that can be adjusted according to the preferences or moods of each customer, providing a personalized coffee experience (Photo: Nguyen Ha Nam).

The drinks at the shop are diverse, from coffee, tea to cocktails, which can be mixed according to preferences or adjusted to sweet, strong, or light depending on the mood so that each person can enjoy it in their own way. For example, if a customer is sad or in a bad mood, they can inform the staff to add a little bitterness or spiciness; the shop is also willing to be creative according to each person's taste, while still ensuring safety and not causing discomfort to health.

The shop also creates seasonal drinks, such as Mangosteen Tea, a combination of mangosteen juice and strong brewed oolong tea, served with lemon slices and rosemary leaves, bringing a cool, refreshing feeling in the middle of summer.

In addition to drinks, the shop also serves snacks and many other dishes, with reference prices ranging from 30,000 to 200,000 VND for drinks and 45,000-200,000 VND for food. Customers are mainly office workers, groups of young people, and sometimes even families with small children.

Romantic green space

Not only a place to enjoy coffee, this is also a creative and connecting space, organizing flower arrangements, candle making, and even intimate weddings in a cozy space.

Impressed by the cool and cozy green space, Mr. Truong Ngoc Son and his wife chose this place as the venue for their private wedding party (Photo: Character provided).

Mr. Truong Ngoc Son held a private wedding party after the traditional wedding ceremony, for friends and close associates.

“I want to have a meaningful party, where everyone feels close but still sophisticated and cozy,” Ngoc Son shared.

Before organizing the event, Mr. Son had visited the restaurant many times to experience the space. He commented that this place is green, quiet, both private and close to nature, making the restaurant the first choice for an intimate party.

Customers coming to the shop are mainly young people and office workers, who are looking for a quiet, green space to work, relax or gather with friends (Photo: Nguyen Ha Nam).

Mai Anh (born 2004) often visits the shop 2-3 times a week. She shared: “I like to come to the shop because many shops are decorated with lots of green trees, when taking pictures the green color looks very beautiful and eye-catching. The space here also helps me relax after busy days.”

However, according to many customers, most of the trees in the restaurant are artificial, so it does not really create a feeling of being in harmony with nature. Some areas of the restaurant are a bit dark, so when taking photos, you need to adjust the angle or use additional lights.

Occasionally, mosquitoes still appear in some locations, but it doesn't affect the experience much.
