79 years ago, on December 22, 1944, in Tran Hung Dao forest (now Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province), the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army officially held its founding ceremony under Uncle Ho's instructions.
December 22, 1944 was chosen as the Founding Day of the Vietnam People's Army. Throughout the process of building, fighting and growing, the Vietnam People's Army has always been the core force, together with the entire Party and people, to achieve glorious feats in the cause of fighting for national liberation, independence, freedom, national unification, and building and defending the Fatherland. "From the people, fighting for the people" is the nature and development law of the Vietnam People's Army.
