
According to information from Hoang Mai district, as of 6:00 p.m. on April 21, the number of households that had their opinions taken reached 99.6% of the total number of permanent households in the district (a total of 122,086 households, of which 121,601 households participated in the opinion taking; the rest were permanent households but were not present in the locality at this time).
The vote counting results showed that: The number of households agreeing with the plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units was 121,011 (reaching 99.12%); the number of households agreeing with the name of the new administrative unit was 120,453 (reaching 98.66%).
Of which, 10/14 wards had 100% of households participating in the survey, such as: Giap Bat; Mai Dong; Tan Mai, Thinh Liet; Hoang Liet; Yen So; Dinh Cong; Vinh Hung; Thanh Tri, Tran Phu.
Notably, Hoang Liet ward has the largest number of permanent households in the district, 20,841 households, and has also distributed 20,841 ballots, ensuring 100% of households participated in the survey. The number of votes in agreement with the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units is 20,751 (reaching a rate of 99.57%); the number of votes in agreement with the name of the new administrative unit according to the plan is 20,716 (reaching a rate of 99.4%).
To encourage units to complete well, some wards such as Hoang Liet, Dinh Cong... have rewarded and encouraged groups that collect public opinions.
