In his opening speech, Director of the Center for Culture - Information and Sports of Hoang Mai District Tran Tuan Anh said: With the message "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books" and "Reading books - Enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation", since the beginning of April 2025, schools and units in the district have enthusiastically responded to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day through activities such as book exhibitions, thematic talks, artistic book folding competitions, painting, introducing and giving books. These activities have spread the spirit of reading to the community, especially students.

In order for the movement of reading books and newspapers in Hoang Mai district to continue to be maintained and have practical results, comrade Tran Tuan Anh said that it is necessary to have a plan to rotate books to school libraries, pilot the organization of mobile library models, organize book introduction exchanges, exchange experiences and good practices to contribute to promoting reading culture.
