
This is an art performance program in the series of programs to promote traditional and contemporary arts in public spaces in Ho Chi Minh City , which the Bong Sen Folk Music and Dance Theater focuses on organizing and implementing from now until the end of 2025, with more than 30 performances, to contribute to promoting, spreading, and bringing traditional arts closer to the public, especially the young generation and international tourists, in order to contribute to preserving and promoting national cultural values in contemporary life.
Also through this series of art events, the Lotus Folk Music and Dance Theater hopes to create a bridge connecting tradition and modernity, bringing interesting and unique art experiences to viewers, arousing national pride and love for Vietnamese culture in the hearts of the audience, after enjoying traditional music and dance works, imbued with the national folk art and cultural identity.
The program was organized and staged attractively with many unique performances, introducing folk art forms such as: singing and dancing, traditional musical instruments combined with modern performance style, depicting the unique beauty of culture, customs and people of regions in Vietnam.
Free public performances are held regularly every Saturday and Sunday evening at Nguyen Hue walking street, Saigon ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
