Coordinate with provinces and cities that have signed cooperation agreements such as Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong... to bring Son La agricultural products into the supermarket system, retail stores and wholesale markets. Promote livestreams to sell on e-commerce platforms and social networks, helping farmers connect directly with consumers. The target is to consume 1,100 - 1,200 tons of agricultural products.
In addition, the Center also coordinates with organizations and localities to organize training on agricultural product preservation techniques for farmers; mobilize people to promote processing, such as drying and soft-drying fruits, diversifying products to meet market demand.
Since the beginning of the year, Son La province has organized two launching ceremonies to bring strawberries and plums onto Vietnam Airlines flights; organized a Consumption Promotion Week in Hanoi, with plums, rice, and many typical OCOP products of 12 districts, towns, and cities. Continuing to promote and boost agricultural product consumption, Son La province focuses on coordinating with northern provinces and cities such as Hai Phong and Hung Yen to organize booths to display and sell agricultural products and organize agricultural product weeks. The first is the agricultural product week scheduled to be held in Hai Phong city this coming August. Consumption promotion activities play a role in promoting and introducing Son La agricultural products to consumers nationwide and for export.
