According to information from Quang Binh province, the Standing Committee of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee have just held a conference on personnel work. At the conference, the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces discussed and agreed on the personnel plan for the provincial Party Committees after the merger.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee (new) has 63 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has 18 comrades, and the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee has 15 comrades.

On the basis of principles and orientations for assigning provincial Party Committee members and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold leadership and management positions in provincial-level agencies and units after the merger and consolidation according to the conclusions of the Provincial Party Standing Committees of the two provinces; at the same time, based on the structure, quantity, standards, conditions, capacity, and strengths of the cadres... The Provincial Party Standing Committees of the two provinces have agreed on the plan to assign Party Committee members and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold leadership positions in the departments and Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Political School, the Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and socio-political organizations.

In addition, comrades will also be assigned to hold leadership positions in specialized agencies and administrative organizations under the Provincial People's Committee, armed forces, Provincial People's Court, etc.

Specifically, 15 Party Committee members were assigned to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary of communes and wards, including 3 members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee as Party Committee Secretaries of wards with important positions, economic scale, developed traffic infrastructure, urban areas, large number of Party members and population.

According to the assessment of the delegates representing the Central Party Committees attending the conference, the personnel plan of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces was elaborately, scientifically, objectively built, suitable for the current staff of the two localities, aiming to build a collective of Party committees and Standing Committees of Party committees that are exemplary in moral qualities, leadership capacity, high solidarity and unity, ensuring inheritance and a balanced and harmonious representative structure between localities, meeting the requirements of implementing the political tasks of the new province after the merger, contributing to building the Party's staff.

In recent times, the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces have identified that personnel work is always a key step in Party building. Developing a personnel plan for the new province is not simply a matter of arranging the organizational apparatus, but also a process of selecting and arranging a team of cadres with sufficient virtue, talent, prestige, vision, and who are truly devoted to the homeland and country; ensuring harmony between inheritance and innovation, between political and professional factors, between regional representation and implementation capacity.
