"We fought with all our might, that's what I'm most satisfied with. However, I'm not satisfied with the referee's decisions, especially in the second half. In many controversial situations, they often blew the whistle against CAHN . The extra time was also longer than announced, making us question. However, this is football and everyone must accept and respect the referee's decisions," Quang Hai said.

In the second leg of the final, Japanese referee Koji Takasaki made decisions that were disadvantageous to CAHN. Notably, in the 4th minute of extra time, the away team had a quick counterattack and Vitao was fouled. The CAHN player passed the last defender of the home team, creating a clear opportunity to face the Buriram goal.
However, the Japanese referee suddenly blew the whistle to stop the match and gave Lucas Crispim a yellow card. The referee's whistle caused CAHN to miss a scoring opportunity. Notably, just 3 minutes later, Crispim equalized 2-2 for Buriram with a powerful shot.

While Quang Hai was upset with the referee, goalkeeper Nguyen Filip - the best player on CAHN's side, apologized to the fans. He wrote on his personal page: "I want to apologize to everyone because we could not bring the Cup home. Football is sometimes cruel, but it will still be a valuable experience for the whole team. Thank you to the Vietnamese hearts that have always accompanied and cheered for us."

On the other side of the battle line, Nguyen Filip's colleague Chatchai shared his feelings: "Experience, concentration and will helped me help the team win. I have never seen such a dramatic match. This result is great. We really have a goal of winning the tournament. We do everything for the fans".
