Quang Nam agrees on the policy of salvaging and clearing obstacles on Yen River.

Việt NamViệt Nam09/05/2024

According to the content of the document, to ensure the safety of inland waterway traffic on the Yen River, through Ai Nghia Bridge (Dai Loc District), the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to allow the implementation of survey, assessment, documentation, and procedures to salvage and clear obstacles on the river in this section as requested by the Department of Transport.

The Provincial People's Committee requests that the clearance be completed before July 31, 2024 (before the flood season). The funding for implementation will be drawn from the 2024 state budget for river repair activities (balanced within the 2024 regular maintenance budget for inland waterways assigned by the Provincial People's Committee).

The Department of Transport is responsible for completing all documents and procedures to implement the next steps in accordance with regulations. If necessary, the Department of Transport will work with the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and supplement the budget for regular maintenance of inland waterways for implementation.
