
According to forecasts, communes and wards in the eastern region of the province such as Binh Son, Cam Thanh, Duc Pho, Mo Duc, Ba To, Minh Long, Tra Bong, Son Tay, Son Ha and Ly Son will have common rainfall of 200-400mm, locally over 500mm.
Communes and wards in the western region including Kon Tum , Sa Thay, Kon Braih, Mang Den, Dak Ha, Dak To, Tu Mo Rong, Bo Y, Dak Pek, Ia Dal and Ngoc Linh have forecasted rainfall of 100-250mm, with some places over 300mm.
Warning of natural disaster risks
According to the Quang Ngai Province Hydrometeorological Station, the level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain: level 1.
Heavy rains can cause major floods, flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, as well as flooding in low-lying areas. Agencies, units, local authorities and people need to proactively monitor the next bulletins, deploy plans to prevent floods, landslides and ensure the safety of residents.
