
In the western region from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and northern Khanh Hoa, the wind gradually increases to level 6-7, near the storm center level 8-9, gusting to level 11. In the coastal region from Thua Thien Hue to Dak Lak, the storm surge is 0.3-0.6m high, accompanied by large waves causing flooding in low-lying areas, coastal erosion, wave overflow and slowing flood drainage.
From November 6-7, the area from Da Nang to Dak Lak will have very heavy rain, with average rainfall of 200-400mm/period, and in some places over 600mm. The area from South Quang Tri to Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong will have heavy rain of 150-300mm, and in some places over 450mm/period.
From November 7-8, the area from North Quang Tri to Thanh Hoa will have moderate to heavy rain of 50-150mm/period, in some places over 200mm.
There is a high risk of deep flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers, and landslides in mountainous areas, especially in the provinces of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Dak Lak.
People need to proactively reinforce their houses, evacuate from dangerous areas, anchor their boats safely and closely monitor further warning bulletins.
