Quang Ngai spends 130 billion VND to upgrade the Provincial General Hospital

Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council has just agreed on the investment policy for the Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital Upgrade Project with a total capital of 130 billion VND.

At the 29th Session (regular session at the end of 2024), the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, reviewed, evaluated and decided to pass many Resolutions related to the public investment plan for 2025.

The People's Council of Quang Ngai province has agreed on the investment policy for the project to upgrade Quang Ngai General Hospital. With the goal of strengthening the infrastructure for the province's frontline medical facilities, contributing to meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of the people in the province. Gradually complete the construction of the Provincial General Hospital with the aim of improving the quality, efficiency and comprehensiveness of medical examination and treatment, perfecting the Hospital to be worthy of being a Grade I Hospital.

The project to upgrade Quang Ngai General Hospital is in group B, with a total investment of 130 billion VND, from the Quang Ngai provincial budget. The Quang Ngai Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works is the investor, the project implementation period is from 2024 to 2027.

Project investment scale: Construction of 2 new blocks and connecting corridors with a total floor area of about 10,400 square meters; Tropical Medicine Faculty block, administrative warehouse, archive warehouse with a floor area of about 3,000 square meters; Oncology Faculty block, Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy Department, Artificial Kidney Department, Department of Surgery, staff garage with a floor area of about 7,050 square meters; connecting corridors with a floor area of about 360 square meters and auxiliary items: Transformer station, traffic yard, flower beds and trees; purchase of some new office equipment, construction equipment and medical equipment.
