Martyr Luong Son was born in 1922 in Que Phu commune. In 1947, he was a soldier of Battalion 79, Regiment 108, Inter-zone 5. During the years of resistance against French colonialism, he and his comrades participated in many large and small battles, achieving many glorious feats.

On October 16, 1950, in a battle with the enemy, he was assigned the task of transporting weapons across the river; with high intensity, under the pressure of enemy bombs and bullets, he tried his best to complete the mission and heroically sacrificed.

With the help of all levels and sectors, the Military Command of Que Son district coordinated with the martyr's family to complete the paperwork. On June 14, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 514 on granting the Certificate of National Merit to the martyrs of Luong Son.
