Resolutely speed up the completion of key traffic projects

With the highest determination, Dak Lak province is focusing all its efforts on completing two key transport projects to practically welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

At these important construction sites, hundreds of officers, engineers and machines are racing against time day and night, determined to bring the project to the finish line on schedule.

The spirit of urgent and fierce work is spreading strongly at the construction site of Component 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Project, Phase 1. With great determination, contractors are racing against time, committed to completing the project by the end of November to practically welcome the upcoming National Party Congress.

At the construction site, the investor directed contractors to organize 41 construction teams, with the participation of nearly 800 officers, engineers, workers and nearly 500 modern machines and equipment.

In construction package 02 undertaken by Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company and Hoang Nam Bridge and Road Construction Company Limited (subcontractor), the asphalt paving work is being urgently deployed. Mr. Tran Van Hong, Deputy Site Commander of package 02 shared: “Our package has a total length of 15.5 km. After overcoming initial difficulties in site clearance, we have now achieved about 72% of the volume, meeting the overall progress well. Currently, package 02 alone has organized 18 construction teams, mobilizing 260 workers and more than 150 specialized equipment operating continuously in three shifts. As a result, the crushed stone pavement has reached over 92%, all 10/10 bridge works on the route have been successfully installed, of which 9 bridges have basically opened to technical traffic”.

Similarly, in package 01, with a length of 16.5 km (section Km69+500 - Km86+00) undertaken by Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. and Saigon Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. (subcontractor), the overall progress has reached about 83%. Currently, the contractors are speeding up the construction of the asphalt concrete road surface, reinforced curbs, lighting system, and at the same time completely handling landslides; completing the access road and drainage on the access road.

The Dak Lak Provincial Project Management Board for Transport Construction and Rural Development (investor) said that as of October 9, 2025, the total value of the implementation of Component 3 reached nearly 72% of the contract value. This is a great effort by the investor and related units.

Along with Component Project 3, the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City (Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City) is also one of the two key traffic works registered by Dak Lak province to be completed in 2025, practically welcoming the 14th National Party Congress.

The project has a total length of more than 39 km, passing through the communes of Ea Ktur, Ea Knuec, Ea Kao, Hoa Phu and Cuor Dang commune. Of which, about 113 m at the intersection with National Highway 14 through Cuor Dang commune, the site handover work encountered many difficulties and obstacles. However, with the participation of the entire political system, on October 9, the last household at this intersection agreed to hand over the site for the investor to implement the project. This is an important turning point for the investor and contractor to focus human and material resources to urgently carry out the construction.

Mr. Le Duy Tuan, Site Commander, An Nguyen Company Limited - the unit in charge of construction package No. 03 said: "After having a clean site, the Company mobilized all its resources and the highest determination to complete this key position. Currently, at this 113 m long intersection alone, the contractor has mobilized nearly 20 pieces of equipment along with a team of experienced human resources, taking full advantage of every hour of sunlight, organizing continuous construction to speed up progress. If the weather conditions are favorable, the Company strives to complete this position in November 2025."

As of October 7, the Eastern Bypass Project of Buon Ma Thuot City has achieved nearly 90% of its output. Currently, in addition to the Cuor Dang intersection, which is being vigorously constructed, other items such as the service road, drainage ditches, and traffic safety system are being completed by contractors.

Mr. Tran Tien Dong, Director of the Dak Lak Province Traffic Construction Investment and Agricultural Development Project Management Board, said: Currently, on both key projects - Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Component 3 and the Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City, the investor has directed contractors to deploy construction measures with the most urgent spirit. Accordingly, contractors are required to concentrate maximum human and material resources, take full advantage of favorable weather to work in three shifts, four shifts, day and night, striving to complete the projects on schedule as committed.

The completion of these two key transport projects affirms the will and political determination of Dak Lak province to practically welcome the 14th National Party Congress, while opening up development space, enhancing connectivity and attracting investment for the province and neighboring regions.
