Quynh Nhai strives to complete social insurance and health insurance targets

Quynh Nhai evaluates the results of implementing the targets of participating in social insurance and health insurance in 2025.

As of September 30, in Quynh Nhai commune, there were 68 units participating in social insurance and health insurance; 58 units participating only in health insurance; 32 enterprises, cooperatives and individual business owners participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. The whole commune has 53 collection points for agency staff in operation.

Up to now, the total number of people participating in health insurance is 25,532 people, the coverage rate is 89.2% of the population. The number of people who have not participated is mainly from households, agricultural , forestry and fishery households with average living standards that are difficult to verify; many households have unstable incomes and still have the habit of waiting and relying on the State to buy health insurance cards. In addition, when going to see a doctor or get sick with health insurance, you still have to buy medicine and medical equipment from outside, which affects your participation in health insurance.
