(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of May 26, the Ministry of Construction held a ceremony to announce the Ministry of Construction's Digital Education Information Page and sign a coordination plan between the Information Technology Center (Ministry of Construction) and the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (Ministry of Public Security).

Mr. Le Thanh Tung, Director of the Information Technology Center (Ministry of Construction) said: Thoroughly grasping the policies and orientations of the Party and Government on digital transformation and Project 06, the Ministry of Construction has completed the tasks of: connecting the Ministry's specialized data (including the driver's license database, vehicle registration database, housing database and real estate market) with the national population database; connecting the Ministry's information systems with the national population database to reduce the number of documents that must be submitted and presented. The provision of online public services by the Ministry of Construction has met the targets assigned by the Government and is always ranked in the TOP of ministries and branches.

Comprehensive restructuring of 42 administrative procedures

To carry out digital transformation tasks comprehensively and substantially, the IT Center and the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order have developed a coordination plan with 15 tasks to be deployed in 2025, focusing on: comprehensive restructuring of 42 administrative procedures of the Ministry of Construction, connecting with the national population database and other specialized databases; deploying vessel identification; applying biometrics and the national identification platform VNeID in the fields of aviation and railways, deploying non-stop toll collection at bus stations and parking lots to promote urban civilization and respond to the digital literacy movement.

Accordingly, implementing Project 06/CP in the field under the management of the Ministry of Construction, units under the Ministry of Construction in coordination with C06 will deploy digital popular education work such as: Building and providing digital learning materials in the field under the management of the Ministry of Construction on the "Digital Popular Education" platform; Instructions on using AI for work.

Promote and promote the exploitation and use of the "Digital Popular Education" Platform on the media of the Ministry of Construction and disseminate digital learning materials to civil servants and public employees in the construction sector; Deploy solutions for applying identification, electronic authentication and biometric identification in the fields of aviation, road and railway; Promote cashless payment solutions in the transport sector; Identify ships and boats; Deploy house numbering solutions; Connect and integrate data of the Ministry of Construction with the National Population Database.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction has issued Resolution No. 11-NQ/DU on strengthening the leadership of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; the Ministry has also concretized it into an Action Plan (in Decision No. 462/QD-BXD), a Plan to respond to the "Digital Education for All" movement (in Decision No. 440/QD-BXD), and many other specific programs.

Minister Tran Hong Minh requested the Information Technology Center to be proactive and creative in developing and enriching the Ministry of Construction's scientific materials on the national "Digital Popular Education" platform. At the same time, closely coordinate with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order to synchronously and effectively implement the content of the coordination plan, ensuring progress and quality.

The Minister also requested that the Departments, Bureaus and units under the Ministry promote their pioneering and exemplary roles in self-reliance, mastery of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the areas under the management of the Ministry of Construction. They must be proactive in building and providing learning materials of the Ministry of Construction on the "Digital Popular Education" platform so that people and businesses can easily access knowledge and improve digital capacity. In particular, strive to complete by the end of August 2025 with learning materials for testing, granting certificates of practice in construction activities and for other learning materials in 2025.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long, the Ministry of Construction currently has many databases to serve people and businesses, but they have not been exploited, leading to a waste of data resources.

"The Ministry of Public Security hopes that the Ministry of Construction as well as other ministries and sectors will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security in the coming time to effectively carry out the task of digital transformation, better serving the people and the development of the country," Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long suggested.
