“ I never thought that an ordinary woman who grew up in the coffee plantations of the great forest, who struggled with her entrepreneurial journey, would one day be recognized on the stage of a beauty contest. The title of 2nd Runner-up is not only a personal pride, but also a gift I want to give to my homeland, the Central Highlands, and to all the women who are striving every day to live up to their ideals.”
That's how Doan Thi Kim Thoa, CEO of two businesses and MC from Dak Lak, talked about herself after winning the title of 2nd Runner-up of Miss Dai Viet Businesswoman 2025.
Born and raised in the mountains of Dak Lak, Kim Thoa's childhood was associated with red soil, forest winds and agricultural harvests. Growing up in that environment, she soon had a special love for nature, the great people and the pure flavor of that land.
“I used to think the nature where I was born was wild. But the older I get, the more I understand that it is a gift. And I want to give that gift to others through clean cuisine ,” runner-up Kim Thoa expressed.
From that dream, Kim Thoa's food business was born with the commitment to bring natural, handmade food, no additives, no preservatives like every mother makes for her children.

Kim Thoa said that the journey will not stop at "clean food" but also be a product ecosystem bearing the mark of the Central Highlands that can be seen at the national level from flavor, packaging, design, to brand story, all exuding the indigenous spirit mixed with modernity.
With the philosophy that “gaining customer trust is gaining market advantage,” Kim Thoa dreams that one day, Vietnamese people can proudly introduce Central Highlands products like the Japanese talk about matcha, Koreans talk about kimchi. And she is also gradually turning her Ban Me Food into a typical clean food brand with a local soul, reaching out on the Vietnamese culinary map.
More importantly, it is the journey that the flower of the mountains and forests wishes to return to its roots, carrying the spirit of the Central Highlands to conquer the trust of the market.
Previously, in the behavioral round of the Miss Dai Viet Businesswoman Finale, Kim Thoa shared her views that as an entrepreneur, she is always aware of how to live the fullest by balancing her career, personal life and responsibility to the community.

“For me, a career is not just a job or a title, but a journey to pursue passion, to be creative and contribute to the values of work to bring positive things to myself and society. Social activities for me are not an obligation but a necessity. Because when we live with a heart that knows how to share and a sense of responsibility, we not only beautify our own lives, but also contribute to beautifying the surroundings,” said Runner-up Kim Thoa.
The beauty from Dak Lak hopes that with her constant efforts and inspiring heart, she can spread and inspire modern women to dare to dream and dare to act. Because for her, whether married or not, the most important thing is that women must learn to love themselves and live a truly meaningful life.
“I believe that we only live once in life, but if we live right, once is enough,” runner-up Kim Thoa emphasized./.
