Previously, to prepare for this special religious event, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province closely coordinated with the provincial authorities to implement the decoration and celebration plan; ensure security, order, traffic, health and rescue. Nearly 10,000 volunteers and authorities were mobilized to guide and support Buddhists, people and tourists coming to worship.

After 4 days of solemn enshrinement at Truc Lam Palace, Yen Tu Scenic Area (Quang Ninh), the Buddha's relics have welcomed about 1 million Buddhists, people and tourists from all over the province to worship Buddha. This event is the largest religious activity at Yen Tu Scenic Area, with a special significance to introduce and promote to a large number of Buddhists, people and tourists about the sacred land of Yen Tu. A world cultural and natural heritage is being submitted to UNESCO for recognition.

Within the framework of the event, flower lantern offering ceremonies and prayers for national peace and prosperity took place. Notably, to satisfy the wishes of Buddhists, people and tourists to worship Buddha's relics, in the sacred pilgrimage in Vietnam, up to now, Quang Ninh province is the only locality that opens its doors all night to welcome Buddhists, people and tourists to worship Buddha.
