Launching market inspection for Mid-Autumn Festival and Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2025

From September 9 to October 10, the Market Management Department, Department of Industry and Trade of Tuyen Quang province coordinated with relevant units to establish 10 delegations from Market Management Teams in the province to simultaneously conduct inspections on the Mid-Autumn Festival and Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2025.

The interdisciplinary inspection team inspected a store selling moon cakes in Minh Xuan ward, Tuyen Quang province.

Accordingly, the delegations focused on inspecting organizations, individuals, supermarkets, and commercial centers that produce, trade, and import and export confectionery and moon cakes; individuals, organizations, and businesses that trade in food additives, children's toys, raw materials, and packaging that come into direct contact with moon cake products; transporters and sales locations that are consumed a lot during the Mid-Autumn Festival on the e-commerce environment...

The inspection contents include: certification of food hygiene and safety conditions, health certification for workers, taking samples for testing (when necessary); checking the price posting of goods and selling goods at the listed price... For establishments that violate the regulations, the delegation will remind, make a record and hand them over to the authorities for handling according to regulations.

The inspection activities aim to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations in the production and trade of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods and goods of unknown origin. At the same time, propaganda to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of organizations and individuals producing and trading in ensuring food safety for items during the Mid-Autumn Festival and Thanh Tuyen Festival.
