Barriers at 10 illegal connection points from Hoang Ngan and An Dinh service roads to National Highway 5

The management and exploitation unit of National Highway 5 coordinated to handle and block 10 illegal connection points on National Highway 5.

The opening point from An Dinh service road to National Highway 5 through Binh Han ward, Hai Duong city has been fenced.

From April 23 to May 25, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) - the unit managing and exploiting National Highway 5, coordinated with departments, branches and localities to block 11 out of 18 illegal connection points on National Highway 5. Of which, 10 connection points were opened from Hoang Ngan and An Dinh service roads to National Highway 5 and 1 point at km 57+700 in Hai Duong city.

The unit also coordinated to barricade 103 self-opened paths across the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway adjacent to National Highway 5. At the same time, it completed the dismantling of old structures, repaired damaged road surfaces, and rutted wheel tracks on the route through Binh Giang and Cam Giang districts; repainted road markings, installed sign systems, and lighting at necessary locations to ensure traffic safety...

The above activities implement Plan 796 of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee on building National Highway 5 through the province as a safe traffic route.

Relevant sectors, units and localities are coordinating to review the current status and legal documents of 24 petrol stations connecting to National Highway 5 through Hai Duong province. For petrol stations that do not meet the requirements, the connection point to National Highway 5 will be closed.

The fencing and removal of spontaneous connection points contributes to restoring traffic order and safety, creating favorable conditions for organizing and regulating traffic on National Highway 5.
